CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)

May contain: human, person, vehicle, and transportation

In a disaster, you may be on your own. Your neighbors are learning what to do...are you?  The Community Emergency Response Team will learn to help themselves and others! Through CERT you can receive:

  • Disaster First Aid Training
  • Disaster Preparedness
  • Basic Firefighting
  • Light Search and Rescue
  • Damage Assessment
  • How to Turn Off Utilities

...and more! 

Unfortunately, with the continued shelter in place and spread of Covid-19, the Fire Department has made the decision to cancel our November 7th one-day boot camp.  We do not feel this is a safe environment to encourage residents to gather.

KFPD Community Emergency Supply Program
