The El Cerrito-Kensington Fire Department will be holding a CERT class this fall, beginning on October 2, 2024.  Classes are free and open to El Cerrito and Kensington residents.  The detailed schedule is:

October 8, Tues           Unit 6 - CERT Organization (Garden Room)

October 14, Mon             Unit 2 - Fire Suppression/Utility Control  (Garden Room)

October 21, Mon          Unit 3 - Disaster Medical Part 1 (Garden Room)

November 1, Fri           Unit 4 - Disaster Medical Part 2 (Patio Room)

November 7, Thurs      Unit 5 - Search and Rescue (Garden Room)

November 13, Weds    Unit 7 - Disaster Psychology (Kensington Community Center, 52 Arlington Ave., Kensington)

November 19, Tues     Unit 8 - Terrorism and CERT (Garden Room)

November 25, Mon      Simulation/Drill (All day - 0700-1600 hrs) TBD

                                     Richmond Training Center, 3506 Cutting Blvd., Richmond

                                    Participants will need to bring work gloves and safety glasses (at a minimum) to the drill
