The El Cerrito-Kensington Fire Department will be holding a CERT class this fall, beginning on October 9th, 2026.  Classes are free and open to El Cerrito and Kensington residents.  The detailed schedule is:

Fall Session             Kensington Community Center    59 Arlington Ave. Kensington 6:00-8:00 PM

**PLEASE NOTE: The course schedule follows the instructors' shift and will be held while on duty.**

• Thursday, 11/05/26   Unit 2 - Fire Suppression/Utility Firefighter Driscoll
• Thursday, 11/19/26      Unit 5 - Search and Rescue Firefighter Vernarecci
• Wednesday, 11/25/26    Unit 7 - Disaster Psychology  Captain Crumpacker
• Wednesday, 12/02/26    Unit 8 - Terrorism/Final Drill  Captain Crumpacker
