Conduct a self-assessment by inventorying all the documents, prescriptions, and personal items you would need if evacuated from your home. Consider your needs, your family, and your pets.

Residents are strongly encouraged to practice emergency water storage. If a strong earthquake damages utility infrastructure and disrupts water delivery, it may be weeks until service is restored.
