Community Notice: Street Sweeping Scheduled for Monday, November 17

As the 2025 Kensington Fiberized Slurry Seal and Overlay Project reaches completion, we want to provide residents with an important update regarding additional street sweeping scheduled for Monday, November 17.

Over the past several months, multiple sweeping operations have taken place. However, several streets with high levels of long-term, on-street parking continue to have accumulated construction material along the gutter lines and beneath parked vehicles. To ensure the final clean-up is effective and the roadway surface is properly cleared, temporary No-Parking zones will be posted in select areas. These locations are identified on the attached map.

To minimize disruption, sweeping will occur in two phases:

• AM Schedule: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• PM Schedule: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

This staggered approach allows residents to use nearby side streets for parking as needed. While parking restrictions will be in effect during the posted times, all streets will remain fully open to traffic throughout the sweeping. Drivers may experience brief delays as the sweeper operates at slower speeds or makes turning movements.

No-parking signs, A-frames, and delineators with clearly marked dates and times are being placed Thursday, 11/13.
